For the past 7 years Alan has been photographing the Australian and UK comedy industries. His images of top names have become iconic and are used in major advertising campaigns and appear in newspapers, billboards, magazines and all over the web. His portraits have been exhibited at comedy festivals throughout Australia and by invitation at the Edinburgh Fringe Festival. Some of the faces you will know, some you won’t, the level of celebrity the comedian has isn’t the point, it’s all about the fact that these people can make us think, laugh, cry and take us with them to their strange and wonderful ways of thinking.
