2006 Tasmanian Fires
In December 2006 much of Tasmania was covered in smoke, there were uncontrolled bushfires raging in every corner of the state. Right in the middle of it all I had a wedding on the east coast, which was the worst effected areas with many homes lost, but luckily only a few injuries. I spent some time documenting the aftermath of the fires around Scamander, including the evacuation and support centre located in St Helens.
