Revolving Faces
Spurred on by my Portrait of the Week section of Photobat.net, I embarked on a more intense daily portrait challenge, which turned out to be one of my hardest projects to date.
Revolving Faces was part of the 2004 Melbourne International Comedy Festival and was exhibited in the Foyer of the Capitol Theatre. It involved an exhibition of 5 framed comedian portraits; each day one of the portraits were replaced with a fresh portrait that had been taken the day before. The exhibition finished with an "audio visual" presentation on the large screen in the theatre itself. A total of 24 comedians were snapped for this project and many of the images are viewable in the comedian galleries.
