Fleety’s been around for ever, an elder statesman of the Australian comedy scene. He’s also the first comedian I really met and did a portrait of.
That was in first year Uni, for an assignment on portraiture. Shot on film, processed by hand and printed by me in the darkroom.
Things have come along way, with all of Fleety’s past i’m pretty happy he’s still about to mark this anniversary that also marks half a life ago for me.
I’ll post the story of the first shoot and a shot from that one next week, but for now here is some shots of wandering about in St Kilda.
