Bride Tasmania, AIPP Tas Wedding Photographer of the Year Article

One of the very cool things about winning Tasmanian Professional Photographer of the Year is the double page article that gets published in Bride Tasmania magazine. I was interviewed over the phone by one of their writers a few months ago and now the magazine is out and I can share the article with you. Hope you like it!

As a bride to be…one day… (aren’t all girls at heart?) I started checking out your beautiful photos many years ago. It’s the little details in your photos that I love, the hands passing rings, the dresses hanging, ready for their beautiful bride and the love that is so evident in all your shots. Thank you for sharing your passion – your naming as Tasmanian Professional Photographer of the Year is an honour much deserved. Congratulations. Now, to sneak a copy of the magazine article home without freaking out the boy!

Thanks for coming back! I have a whole head of ideas whirling around in my head for this coming wedding season, just can’t wait to make them happen. Adding an extra dimension to the detail shots too, is all a bit exciting!

What cute dogs! I may be biased but since you won an award with that pic there has to be something said for the quality of the models. You do such a great job and all our pics are amazing, nice to be able to say the Tas wedding photographer of the year shot our wedding!! Plus as we all know you were the only person cabable of making my Brad relax enough to smile in at least some of the photos! Thanks for being brilliant and congrats.

Yes, the models were quite good, just the right about of cute.
making Brad smile was easy, just say random things and he responds. Try it one day!
Was a pleasure to shoot your day
