Airport…

I kind of like airports. I’ve been in this one for 3 ½ hours. Not because of delays (but I’m here longer because of them). I just came early so that I could get some work done. I’ve been in Melbourne for a week and have accumulated a few days work on the computer when I get back. So I arrive early and get stuck into a bit of it while I am waiting, and I could have done that where I was staying, but I seem to get more done in the nice Virgin Blue, Blue Rooms. It’s good to be able to sit down, connect to the net and work away. Most of the things I managed to get done were replying to neglected emails and organizing another exhibition for Sydney.

I was a bit apprehensive about the exhibition in Sydney for the Big Laugh Comedy Festival next March. I managed to do a bit of investigating on the internet today and found the direct number for the festival manager. A long chat ensued and I’m quite confident that this exhibition will be a good thing; it does make a new set of logistical problems for the “May Contain Traces Of Nuts” exhibition. I seem to always do this, I just want to have a little exhibition in one location, this time it was going to be Melbourne, and now it starts in Hobart, gets a bit bigger in Sydney and ends up double its original size in Melbourne. There is only a 3 day turn around between Sydney and Melbourne which is going to be a bit tight. I am contemplating going up on the Spirit to Sydney and driving the exhibition down to Melbourne. I know there will be a few comedians also wanting to get from Sydney to Melbourne at that time so it would probably turn into a fun little road trip.

I may even get tour t shirts made up… or is that going too far?
