I met Ali about 9 years ago, her boyfriend introduced us and I took her photo backstage at the Speigletent in Edinburgh. Since then i’ve shot her live shows, dvd stills, family and even wedding photos.
She is a genuinely serious talent with the inititive to look around what she does and how she can diversefy it. Her ARIA nomination for best kids album shows what she can do, a trained opera singer who ran off and joined the carnival that is La Clique. Now she’s heading back to Edinburgh to celebrate her 10th season. This is one of the shots from the promotional poster shoot a few weeks back. Totally Decadent.
