Australian Professional Photography Awards for me this year was hard. I spent most of the time with a great group of photographers in little black rooms judging some of the 3000+ prints from all over the country. Talked some up to Golds which is always amazing and unfortunately didn’t get some I challenged up (sorry!).
I had oen of those years, nearly didn’t enter and at the last minute pulled a very late night in the office to put together a few images to submit. Glad I did as it was one of my better years with 2 Silver with Distinctions, a Silver and a Silver in the Wedding Album Category. Add onto that a book of a project I am involved with picked up the overall Aus Photo book of the Year.
I’ll post the album when I get back from the US late next month, I love it and have wanted to post it since it got runner up at the Tas awards. Infact the couple who’s wedding is featured in the winning album have no idea yet! Looking forward to surprising them with the news.
