What is Barkology?

The last 12 months, Photobat has been photographing Kids and their dogs to raise funds for The Kids’ Cancer Project. The Barkology Project has raised over $4000 so far. Images from each session are being collected into a book that celebrates the connection kids have with their childhood pets.

NOW WE NEED YOUR HELP TO DECIDE ON THE COVER

Our designer has selected some of the images that will be best suited to the book cover and mocked a design, and we are giving YOU the opportunity to vote for your favourite! The design with the most votes will be THE COVER for our third Barkology book as well as some extra special perks!!! 

Plus, for taking the time to vote for your favourite cover, you could win a $550 Photobat Family Portrait Experience for your own family! 

Voting is open to everyone, but you can only enter once!

How to Vote:

1 – Review our awesome kids and dog cover designs above (click to enlarge)

2  – Fill in the survey below, where you will be asked for your top three choices for the cover.

3 – Complete the survey, and you are all done!

Voting Terms & Conditions

  1. Only one entry per family/IP address will be accepted. 
  2. Entrants must be over the age of 18.
  3. Entries close at 9 pm on August 8th, 2025.
  4. The winner of the cover competition will be notified by phone on 9th August 2025 and announced on social media. The winner will have the chosen photograph feature as the cover of the 2025 Barkology book and will receive some additional surprise perks.
  5. A small selection of voters will be chosen to receive a Photobat Portrait Experience of their own. These winners will be notified by SMS and email no later than August 15th. The $550 prize is for an outdoor Photobat Family Photography Experience, an 8×12 matted fine art print and $100 credit towards photographic artwork. Prize packages must be used by 30 November 2025 unless we agree in advance. 
  6. Prizes may not be substituted for any other product or service or used in conjunction with any other promotion, gift certificate or discount, and are not redeemable for cash.
  7. By entering this competition, you agree to be added to our mailing list to be kept up to date with lots of fun things we have going on, as well as some pretty cool photos. We promise never to spam you, and of course, you can unsubscribe any time.
