Hawley Beach Family Portrait

[vc_row][vc_column][vc_column_text]When I was chatting to Em about there family portrait, the one thing that kept coming up was Hawley. For those who don’t know Hawley, it’s a little town on the central north coast of Tasmania that is filled with shacks that have been there for years. They are slowly being sold of passed down to the next generation with many shacks being in families for many decades with little changes.

So to the shack I went for their family portrait on Australia Day, of course, we didn’t stay in the shack at all. Why would you when there is an amazing beach to adventure at just across the road.

A little Nippers flag race practice was had too, someone may have had a slight age advantage.

And the rest of the time was all about the crabs, I was terrified of crabs when I was this age, these kids weren’t scared at all with a heap of them being found to participate in a crab race.

I may be in love with that photo above a bit too much, it just sums up a morning at the beach with fun kids who don’t want to stop moving!

Going to family holiday spots to do portraits is one of my favourite kinds of sessions, please let me know if you want me to tag along and do a family portrait at your favourite holiday spot!
