It’s rare to get away so when I realised that we could, we jumped at the chance to head to the east coast and spend some time at my parents shack. Just us, the dog and some dvds.
We spent a heap of time drinking coffee at the General Store and More in St Helens, as usual Nick was blasting out the Ruck Rover and making some good food while the girls were making some fantastic coffee. I’ve said it before, go check them out when you are up that way.
The best thing about the time away was just hanging out with V, just talking and relaxing.
We also managed to get the Kaba down to the beach for a run. He loves it down there, just doesn’t like the water so much. He’s kinda terrified of it.
Back to work today, gearing up for the cupcake/open day next Monday.
