The Red Feather Inn has had a face lift. And it has turned out really really well!
Built in the 1800’s the Inn was one of Tasmania’s first coach inns and is now a high quality boutique hotel. The rooms are fantastic, they have a kind of modern / french provincial feel and are very stylish with their fittings and furnishings. The firs thoughts that went through my head when I had a little tour was wow. I knew the Inn in it’s previous incarnation as a restaurant and was amazed at it’s transformation. The rooms are so inviting and the baths look even more inviting. We were there early in the morning and the rooms were warm, a good thing for spring time in Tasmania! Every little detail has been individually picked and placed, I think half the enjoyment at staying here will be discovering all the little trinkets.
Out the back there is a large spacious garden which is going to be a very popular wedding and party spot. It’s fantastic and I can’t wait to shoot a special occasion out there.
The Inn is located in Hadspen just outside of Launceston on the way to Deloraine. Check out their website here.
