A shot taken last week in the middle of printing the exhibition portraits. They are all printed on the Epson 2880 on Hahnemuhle cotton rag paper. The prints look fantastic all framed and hung. There will be another post with a better shot of all the portraits and the detail shots that go with them. If you can’t tell, the portraits are a little bit Avedon inspired, all photographed with a white bed sheet as the background in varuios places around Tasmania and in Melbourne. I purposely kept the camera, lens and lighting the same through out the project so they would all hang together well in the gallery. Printing them all black and white also helps keep the consistency.
I’m really happy with how it all came together, we shall see what the masses say when it is officially opened tonight. See you there?
