Richard and I go way back to the time I met him in the supermarket when he was waiting for his girlfriend to finish work… flash forward a little and I photographed their wedding… flash forward even more and he’s set up Virtuioso Black, his barbershop, in Beaumaris.
I’d been following along with his work via socials when they had relocated to the USA. Seeing what he was up to and really showing his passion for the job.
Personally, I was excited that they relocated back here, and he’s excited that, unlike in the USA, he doesn’t have to take a gun to work… just his awesome hair cutting tools, and the school dads are happy to have a great new place to get their hair cut too.
Photographed in his barbershop on the great textured walls.
Book a session over at his booking site.
Or try your luck with a walk in at 3/268 Balcombe Rd Beaumaris
