Well.. I had to include a self portrait in the challenge at least once and as it’s my birthday week it seemed just the right moment to do it.
I had this dark and moody plan, including a sunset sky and a laundromat, but the weather didn’t work for the times I had free.
So, I just grabbed a couple of things I had lying about and ran off to see what I could make in the 20 minutes spare I had before I had to get the youngest down for bed.
The unicorn costume was initially bought for a friend’s Cowboy-themed party ( I couldn’t find a horse costume), and the balloons are a leftover from about 14 years ago when I used to do markets and hand them out to kids. I still have about 500 plus of them kicking about so any excuse to use them is great!
Plus, dark and moody… is that really me? This is more representative of me now, getting older, still taking things seriously but also wanting to enjoy life… and make people smile and laugh!
