I first met Omar outside our house about 5 years ago. He was out for his morning walk with his human Steve.
Since then it’s a daily occurrence to see them out wandering. Omar leads the way, Steve encourages him to keep moving, to stay out of some peoples front yards and watch out for cars.
Omar’s 16 years old and slowly wanders about, he’s got other cat friends like Blue who is probably his bestie, and he also knows every human neighbour.
Omar really brings out street together, he’s always up for a pat… well… when he’s in the mood.
Omar also goes on adventures a little further afield too, on his lead I’ve seen him exploring the local Coles carpark and even down the beach.
I’m pretty sad he’s getting on in years, he’s a pretty cool cat.
