Our family has had a bit of a history with lifesaving clubs in the bay. Firstly Saff started off nippers at Beaumaris and after being the only member who went to competitions she moved onto Half Moon, where she competed for a few years. Then for her last couple of seasons she was at Mentone, where she’s found her home.
This year she kicked off her Partoling life, being on the beach and in the water helping the public with their needs in regards to safety.
She patrolled the last day of the season and so I dropped down at the end of the session to capture some portraits of the members who were on patrol.
